Two months back, yaemulli teamed up with director Theo Edwards to deliver the visuals for “Adore”—a video that elevates the track’s dreamy, melodic energy with stunning imagery. What makes this one stand out is how each scene feels purposeful, stitched together in a way that balances unique beauty without overcomplicating the look.

.

From the start, the video sets its serene tone in a crisp yellow wheat field, using wide, cinematic framing to create a sense of openness or distance, up to you. Personal shout-out to the wide frame, beneath-the-canopy shots sprinkled throughout. If they had been the whole video, I would've been happy. A tranquil purple backlit farm at dusk paints the frame with a surreal glow that makes yaemulli look like he’s performing in the ideal dream setting. Later, we get shots of him rapping solo in a lush green field, the visuals bring the focus straight to the artist himself after all the scenic detours.

Throughout, the video casually layers indoor scenes into the vibrant nature: black-and-white shots of working and thinking contrasted with colorful moments of relaxing, suggesting the grind of creating music in contrast with the colorful world that inspires yaemulli. It finishes with a deep blue sky, just before the sun sets, about to be the perfect conclusion to the theme... till the artist appears with ADORE plastered in a hazy dawn sky, and makes you want to watch it all again.

Edwards’ direction shines through in the wide frames and ability to create a captivating shot while only highlighting one color at a time. It’s proof that with strong vision and attention to detail, a music video can carry as much storytelling weight as the song itself. Just a reminder, yaemulli is only 19. Follow him everywhere, clearly he's one to watch.
