The amount that we've been seeing Seattle native Dempsey Hope on socials over the last two months is insane. His flow is bringing some nostalgia to our ears that feels much needed. Dempsey has this way about him and the way he is teasing and sharing his music -- it is relaxed, nonchalant, but cuts at your heart in the most unassuming way.

To give this man his flowers for a second, he dropped 53 singles last year in 2025. 53. Artists always say "I'm going to drop a single a week, it's going to help me grow, consistency is key," and it almost never happens. The level of dedication that you need to have to create 53 songs worth releasing, is monumental. Let alone the actual creative and musical capabilities you need to create 53 songs worth releasing in a single year proves he's worth paying attention to.

On March 4th, Dempsey released a song he's been teasing for the last few weeks, "live and let die," the title track from his most recent release, "live and let die" a three song EP. These three songs are extremely catchy, and to me, showcases Dempsey's evolution and growth as an artist.

Personally, I'd love to see Dempsey Hope and Yung Pinch on a song together, I feel like that just makes sense. I feel like that collaboration would result is something that is extremely infectious and high a high replay value. We're eager to see what is in store for Dempsey Hope over this next year and if he will continue to release as frequently as he did last year. Make sure to keep him on your radar as an artist to watch this year.
